HRM versus CHPM

The SFM1 Sap Flow Meter can be configured to measure sap flow via the Heat Ratio Method (HRM) or the Compensation Heat Pulse Method (CHPM). Here we installed 2 sensors, side by side, to compare how the data. Today we installed the sensors at our tree site in Armidale, New South Wales, Australia. Keep an eye on this blog over coming weeks to see how the data turn out!
The SFM1 on the left is configured for CHPM; the SFM1 on the right is configured for HRM.
